How we help you achieve your goals

Anyone can create a website and throw their information on some pages.
A website that works for you is based on a strategy with purpose before any colours or fonts are picked.
It’s based on your goals, and what you want to achieve – so your website works for you to accomplish exactly that.

STEP ONE:

We’ll set your business goals for the next 12 months based on a solid business plan that covers your ideal client, target market, gaps analysis, financial plan, sales plan, promotions calendar, and more.

STEP TWO:

We’ll rework your website from the initial planning stage (before design), so that visitors will be more inclined engage with the areas you want to focus on to hit those objectives.

STEP THREE:

We track and revise your goals every 6-12 months and create new ones to ensure your business is growing, adjusting your website as needed to reflect these new targets.

Thank you for 15+ years in business!

A HUGE thank you to all my clients, my family, and my friends for all your support these past fifteen (plus) years.

As the person who wears all the hats and is responsible for every aspect of this business – I still want to say “we’re” celebrating, because it’s not just me; it’s everyone that’s let me bounce ideas off them, everyone that’s given me a second opinion on a design or a strategy, all my colleagues I’ve collaborated with over the years, other business owners I’ve celebrated wins with, and also commiserated with about just how hard it is to keep a small business running – and of course my clients, without whom none of this would be possible. Thank you so much for trusting me to be part of your business.

WHO WE ARE:

ABOUT THE OWNER/FOUNDER:

kathryn barlow | kbarlow designI’m a design professional, Apple aficionado, and I think spreadsheets are awesome.

Kathryn Barlow was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and a Certificate in Digital Media from the York University/ Sheridan College Joint Program. She has been keeping up with web standards as they’ve changed over the past 15+ years and eagerly continues to learn.

After graduating in 2005, she spent four years at a small design studio in downtown Toronto working with national corporate companies and independent clients. During her time there she won an award in RGD’s “Design at Work 2009” in the Web Design category for the movie “One Week”, and starting building a client base part-time.

Since then, she has focused full-time on her business, continuing in web-based design, development, logos, and creating print-it-yourself style organization tools: Productivity Planners. She has enjoyed the creative freedom and challenges of building her company.

In her spare time, she is usually enjoying beachcoming (rain, shine, snow… whatever!), photography, baking, needle felting, playing in the water, traveling, being out in nature and/or spending time with her family. Kathryn appreciates a work-life balance so she can provide her clients the attention and quality they deserve.
